Ecopond Tadpole Food Print Page Print this page

Ecopond Tadpole Food is a vegetable based food, formulated to meet the dietary needs of tadpoles in the early, vegetarian, stages of development. Lack of food in the early stages of a tadpole's growth will greatly reduce its chance of reaching maturity, so providing a helping hand with some specially formulated food will help to maintain a healthy amphibian population in ponds and gardens. Ecopond Tadpole Food provides the nutrition that tadpoles need up to the point where they develop back legs (4-6 weeks after free swimming begins). A pinch of food should be sprinkled on the surface of the pond once a day. Late-stage Tadpole food is a high protein food, formulated to meet the dietary needs of tadpoles in the later stages of development, when they have developed black legs ( approximatately 6 weeks after free swimming begins ).
