Flowering rush. Rush-like marginal plant with rich green leaves. Bronze-purple then dark green as they extend. Umbells of many cup-shaped fragrant white flowers held high above the water. Suitable for ponds and lakes in full sun. Will not flower if pot bound. Height 100 cm. Flowering time June-July. Water depth10-20 cm over the rhizome.
