Delivery Information

All postage and packing prices for our plants and dry goods are based on weight and show as you shop, and dispatched by the following postal and courier services.  Certain items under 2 kilos are bulky and therefore don’t comply with our built-in Royal mail tariff.  These items include Aquatic planting Baskets and floating islands etc, postage and packing charges for bulky items are automatically charged at courier zone rate charges.

Please ensure you choose the correct drop down box when placing your order so that the relevant postage and packaging charge is added to the invoice.

Orders sent out with delivery instructions are delivered at the customers own risk, we cannot be held responsible for parcels left without a signature

All orders are despatched within 5 working days from date of ordering and delivered within 48-hours (UK Only) from time of despatch. 

Orders sent 2nd Class Royal mail can take up to 4 working days to be delivered from time of despatch.   We cannot guarantee next day delivery to remote parts of Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Isle of Wight and the Channel Islands.  All orders must be signed for on delivery unless we are given special instructions at the time of the order.

UK orders less than 2 kilos are sent 1st or 2nd class by Royal Mail.

UK orders over 2 kilos or in large boxes are sent by Interlink and UK Mail

EU orders are sent by Interlink and TNT

We cannot guarantee or be responsible for plants delayed in transit to remote EU islands or EU isolated destinations.

All weight tariffs include the cost of flat-pack boxes and other packing costs (1000grams =1 kilo)

1 x 1 litre pot-plant = 1.1 kilo

1 x 9 cm pot-plant = 600 grams

1 x 7 cm pot-plant = 300 grams

1 x bare rooted plant = 500 grams

1 x plug-plant = 100 grams

The following items are heavy and therefore expensive on postage and packing costs.

1 x velda lelite water lily soil = 6.5 kilos

1 x velda aquatic soil = 5.5 kilos

1 x aquatic gravel = 2.5 kilos

We deliver to the entire UK Mainland, Scottish Islands, Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, Southern Ireland, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Scilly Isles, Channel Islands and EU countries.
